oes is done by using spectrolab from spectro-ai, germany. alloys that can be analyzed using spectrolab are carbon and low-alloy steels, stainless steels, tool steels, other ferrous-base alloys and aluminum-base alloys.

the electro-chemical analyzer is used for analysis of copper-base alloys.

typical elements analyzed by wet analysis include carbon and sulphur ( by strolehin apparatus), phosphorus, silicon, chromium, nickel, manganese etc.
