As part of Omnicom (NYSE:OMC) and its family of marketing companies, we also expanded beyond the United States to forge a global network that began with the acquisition of Countrywide, a leading public relations firm in the United Kingdom. Acquisitions in Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain, a successful start-up in France that recently won nationwide Agency-of-the-Year honors, plus integration of other Omnicom-owned public relations firms from Israel to the United Arab Emirates, have established Porter Novelli as a leader across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. We joined with other Omnicom-owned public relations agencies and brand partners to create the strongest public relations presence in the Asia Pacific region. And in the Americas, acquisitions in Mexico, Canada and Argentina anchored a group of long-term brand partners that have made Porter Novelli a leader in the Americas.
