Services :- Scanagri is working within food, agriculture, rural development, environment and natural resource management. In order to implement programs and projects within here it is nessesary to have a multi-targeted approach encompassing different disciplines, including not only agronomic, but also economic, social and political instruments and approaches.
Acknowledging this diversity, Scanagri, in line with new approaches to rural development, works at three levels in order to be able to cope with the challenges facing rural poverty reduction, sustainable natural resource management and agricultural development in future. The levels are:- Policy and Strategy Development, Rural Business Development, Rural livelihoods Development.

1)Policy and Strategy Development :- Introducing changes in management principles among public service providers, Creating incentives for producers, institutional building measures and advising on allocation and distribution of resources between different priority areas such as research, livestock and crop production, Decentralization processes, Tax and trade policy development, Privatisation strategies and restructuring, Land policies and land acts, Support to compliance with international environmental conventions and strategic environmental assessments.
2)Rural Business Development :- Designing and implementing support to SME development, Integrated dairy, meat and other food chains ventures and projects, Forest industry development, Development of non-wood forest products, Introducing higher value crops, Assisting local producers in export promotion, Organisation of business ventures controlled and operated by farmers, Support to development of other rural organisations and cooperatives, Support to development of local environmental management plans, Seed industry development, Organic farming, IPM.
3)Rural livelihood :- Organisational and regional development, Decentralisation, Public-private partnership, Advisory services to public institutions taking into account the civil society and economic support programmes for rural areas.
