Introduction- Since 1976, Switching Power, Inc. Has been a leading supplier of high-efficiency switch mode power supplies. With 29+ years of experience in the power supply manufacturing industry, we realize customer satisfaction is the `KEY` to a successful business. The engineering staff has contributed to the technology: Patent #4, 961, 044 `Power Factor Correction Circuit for Power Supplies`Patent #6, 853, 564 B2 `Switched Linear Inductor Circuit for Switched Power Supply`Both have resulted in extreamely reliable conversion circuit design. SPI is known worldwide for its innovative engineering and high standards of quality, Switching Power has long been recognized as a major manufacturer of power supplies. It is company policy to produce and deliver product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Facility- The 30, 000 square foot Ronkonkoma facility is home to the engineering, manufacturing and product safety departments. Our 10, 000 square foot machine shop is outfitted with the latest computerized equipment. All metal is fabricated in house. Manufacturing is equipped with automatic component insertion machines and all printed circuit boards are surface mount or thru-hole auto inserted. A complete transformer department produces high-quality items which are used exclusively within our products. To ensure product control, drawings, ECO's and associated required design information is transferred electronically from the engineering department to the manufacturing department.
