Universal Construction Company was established in the year 1978 as a Manufacturing House. The Organisation has been expanding with the passage of time and has now its own Sales & Engineering Office, Design & Development Office in the city of Kolkata. The Manufacturing unit has also expanded during this period to have its own Fabrication Shop, Machine Shop, Assembly Shop, Production Planning, Quality Control Department, Shipping & Transport etc. With highly experienced and competant Engineers and other personnel, Universal Construction Company has been basically catering to the needs of Continous Caster Plants, Steel Plants & Heavy Industries of the Country in both Public and Private Sectors in the fields of Mechanical Equipment, Fabricated and Machinery items, Welding Systems and Material Handling Systems. GLOBAL CONSTRUCTION CO.- Undertakes Civil Construction Work including Civil Foundations with a seperate Department to undertake erection and commissioning of Plant & Equipment supplied by Universal Construction Co./ Indian Metal Supply Co., with supervision of its own Engineers and also Clients Specialists. It deals in Real Estate Development business also. Raw Materials : We purchase Steel Plants and Sections directly from SAIL and TISCO with manufactures Test Certificates. In ccase of nonavailability of Steel from Sail / Tisco, these are sometime purchased from open markets after they are physically and chemically tested. Steel Casting as per IS:1030 and IS:2707 and Cast Iron Castingto IS:210 are procured from reputed Forgings Houses. Non-ferrous items(Brass, Bronze, Aluminium) and their castings are procured from our regular suppliers who Supply quality products.
