This course provides good understanding of CDMA/EVDO network and technology. The participant will get to know about IS-95 and CDMA2000 Technology. The evolution of CDMA 1xRTT network and the backward compatibility to IS-95 is also explained. The different codes, processing gain, logical channels, soft and hard handoff, rake receivers, power control mechanism, spreading techniques, are explained with their functionalities.
